Gavilan College Job Fair Moved to Online Format
by on Jun 15, 2020What: Gavilan College has rescheduled its annual Career & Job Fair, and will be hosting it online for the first time. Students will have the opportunity to speak with four employers who are currently hiring. There is a wide variety of career fields to choose from. Jobs are currently available in healthcare, publishing, retail and home improvement.
Who: There will be 4 representatives from BenitoLink, Big 5, Covenant Care, and Lowe's Home Improvement available to answer questions. This is a great opportunity to learn more about these professions, industry job prospects, trends and career paths. Staff from Gavilan College’s Career/Transfer Center will also be available to inform students of all the free services the CTC offers, including help with resumes and online resources.
Learn more about College Central Network, the primary job search service for the college. This platform allows students and alumni to search for jobs and internships with the ability to apply directly from their cell phone. The site also offers career related articles, videos and podcasts.
